🚀 Sitemap PRO - a comprehensive SEO module for automatically creating and updating XML sitemaps in OpenCart 3.x and ocStore 3.0.x.

🗺 Regular XML Sitemaps

Sitemap PRO generates maps of products, categories, manufacturers, information pages, articles, and other supported sections of the store.

For each page, the URL, date modified, update frequency, and priority are taken into account. You can choose to generate product links without a category or with a main category, depending on the canonical URL structure of a particular site.

Large maps are automatically divided into safe parts, taking into account search engine restrictions on the number of URLs and XML file size.

🌍 Multilingualism

For each active language, its own sitemap with the correct language URLs is created.

For example, a store with Ukrainian, English, German, and Danish languages will receive separate Sitemap files for each language. All created maps are automatically added to the main Sitemap Index.

This allows search engines to correctly crawl and index multilingual versions of pages without mixing URLs from different languages.

📸 Image Sitemap

The module creates separate image maps for products, categories, manufacturers, articles, and information pages.

The map can include primary and secondary images, as well as photos found in descriptions. Sitemap PRO does not create or compress images during XML generation, so the process is fast and does not create excessive load on the server.

When selecting WebP or AVIF, the module uses ready-made files that already exist. If the required format is not available, the original image is used.

In connection with AVIF WebP Image PRO, the module receives ready-made optimized images of modern formats and adds them to the Image Sitemap without re-conversion.

🎬 Video Sitemap

Sitemap PRO generates separate video maps for each active language of the store.

Each video has a page, preview, title, description, and valid player URL. YouTube data and videos added via compatible modules are supported.

In conjunction with Product Video Gallery PRO, the module automatically retrieves videos from product cards and creates full-fledged Video Sitemaps. This allows you to simultaneously display videos in the product gallery, form VideoObjects, and submit video content to search engines.

🔔 Search engine ping

After successful Sitemap generation, the module can send notifications to search engines that the sitemaps have been updated.

Ping is performed only after successful writing of XML files. In case of generation error, the message is not sent, and the previous working version of the card is saved.

The feature helps to notify search engines faster about new products, changed pages, images, and videos without waiting for the next scheduled site crawl.

⚙️ Manual and automatic generation

All maps can be created with one button or updated individually:

a regular map of a specific language;

Image Sitemap of a specific language;

Language-specific Video Sitemap;

all language cards of the selected type;

full Sitemap set.

Cron and PHP CLI are supported for automation. The module outputs ready-made commands, including the Mirohost panel settings format, and allows you to copy them with one click.

Cron can create regular maps, images, and videos on a schedule. If a particular Sitemap type is disabled, it is automatically skipped.

🛡 Safe generation

New XML files are written atomically. The existing work map is not deleted until the new generation is successfully completed.

If the process is interrupted due to a timeout, memory limit, PHP errors, or file writing problems, the module stores the reason for the error and does not leave the site without a Sitemap.

When disabled, the module does not start generation, Cron, CLI, and ping of search engines.

📊 Diagnostics and management

The administrative panel displays:

last generation status;

language and stage performed;

number of URLs, images and videos;

number of files created;

execution time;

memory usage;

return to original images;

omitted and missing sources;

detailed error messages.

Each card has separate regeneration, copy address, open XML, and status check options. The full URL is displayed on hover, even if the field is visually truncated.
